Albanian MP in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has congratulated Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on forming the new government, while calling on the new executive to place the Presheva Valley issue high on its political agenda.

Kamberi Congratulates Kurti and New Cabinet

In a public statement on social media, Kamberi welcomed Kurti’s new mandate and the composition of the newly formed government, expressing hope that the administration will deliver stable governance and tangible achievements for Kosovo citizens.

Kamberi emphasized that the new government should focus on strengthening the rule of law, economic development, public security, and accelerating Euro-Atlantic integration.

Presheva Valley Highlighted as Key Priority

The Albanian MP stressed that he expects the new Kosovo government to prioritize the rights and status of Albanians in the Presheva Valley, advocating for a stronger diplomatic and political engagement on the matter.

He urged that the issue be addressed through dialogue with Serbia, enhanced regional cooperation, and stronger international involvement, particularly focusing on reciprocity and equal treatment of minority rights.

Call for Broader National Engagement

Kamberi concluded his message by expressing optimism that the Kurti-led government will work decisively for Albanians both inside and outside Kosovo’s borders, underscoring the importance of inclusive national representation and regional stability.
