A newly released photograph from the Jeffrey Epstein files has once again drawn attention to his connections with some of the world’s most prominent figures. The photo shows a 2015 dinner where Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel sat at the same table. Epstein himself later boasted that the gathering had been “crazy.”
The photograph was published as part of documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice. According to British media reports, the image was emailed by Epstein to himself on August 3, 2015, just one day after attending the luxurious dinner with these tech titans. Epstein also had a framed copy of the photograph in his Manhattan apartment, highlighting the importance he placed on the meeting.
Emails included in the file show that the dinner took place on August 2, 2015. A few weeks later, in an email dated August 20, 2015, sent to billionaire Tom Pritzker, Epstein described the gathering as “crazy.” This description has now resurfaced amid growing public scrutiny of the relationships the disgraced financier had with powerful business and technology figures.
Following the release of these documents, those named in the files have begun to minimize any association with Epstein. The DOJ has released more than three million documents related to Epstein’s social network and activities, shedding light on his widespread contacts with politicians, businessmen, and public figures.
