Gunshots were heard just after midnight in the village of Kashtanjev, in the Shtërpcë municipality. Kosovo Police responded to the scene, where they encountered a group of six individuals having a picnic.
During the search, two individuals — identified as D.F. (40) and U.A. (25) — were found in possession of weapons and ammunition, including a hunting rifle, two pistols, bullets, casings, and two hatchets.
The suspects were escorted to the Štrpce police station and, following interrogation, were released under regular procedure by order of the prosecutor. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
