One individual was arrested on Saturday evening after firing a gun in Rexhep Luci Square following Albania’s winning goal against Serbia in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
The police confirmed that the suspect was immediately apprehended at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
“Around 21:30, we received information about gunfire on Rexhep Luci Street in Pristina. Police units promptly responded to the scene and arrested a suspect. No one was injured in connection with this incident,” said spokesperson Enis Pllana.
