Presheva Mayor Ardita Sinani has congratulated Kosovo’s newly formed state institutions, including Prime Minister Albin Kurti, his cabinet, and Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu, while pledging strong institutional cooperation and active support for advancing the rights of Albanians in the Presheva Valley.
In an official public statement, Sinani praised the establishment of Kosovo’s new leadership structures, emphasizing that the strong citizen vote represents both trust and responsibility. She stressed that political leadership must transform public hope into tangible results and concrete governance achievements.
Sinani extended her congratulations to Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the newly formed government, wishing them determination, stability, and success in their new mandate. She also congratulated Albulena Haxhiu on her election as Speaker of the Assembly, as well as deputy speakers and members of parliament, highlighting the critical role of the legislature in safeguarding constitutional order and shaping the country’s future direction.
The Presheva mayor particularly welcomed the increasing representation of women in Kosovo’s decision-making institutions, describing it as an important step toward strengthening equality, justice, and democratic development.
Furthermore, Sinani commended the citizens of Kosovo for their democratic maturity, as well as political parties for their contribution to institutional consolidation. According to her, democracy is reinforced when the will of citizens is respected and reflected in governance processes.
Reaffirming her commitment to regional cooperation, Sinani stated that Presheva is ready to maintain close and substantive collaboration with Kosovo’s institutions. She emphasized that the municipality will remain a clear voice, reliable partner, and active contributor in all initiatives aimed at strengthening the position and rights of Albanians in the Presheva Valley.
