Five European countries – Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands – together with Japan have declared their readiness to stabilize energy markets and ensure the safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
In a joint statement, the countries condemned the recent attacks by Iran and called on Tehran to cease its actions, emphasizing the importance of freedom of navigation as a fundamental principle of international law and global maritime security.
