The Kosovo Police has today suspended three police officers in Skenderaj following an incident during a visit by acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, whose escort was hit with eggs by still unidentified individuals.
The police announced that “The Regional Police Directorate in South Mitrovica has undertaken several actions and, in coordination with the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK), has made the decision to suspend three (3) police officers from the Police Station in Skenderaj for a duration of 72 hours.”
Further investigations into the incident will be conducted by the competent institutions.
