In his third attempt, Slavko Simić did not secure enough votes to become Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, according to Reporteri.net.
During the session, only 10 deputies voted in favor of Simić, while 56 voted against and 21 abstained.
Notably, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) did not participate in the vote for Simić.
This outcome underscores the challenges Serbian representatives face in securing leadership positions within the Kosovo Assembly, amid ongoing political tensions.
