The Prime Minister of Slovenia, Robert Golob, has said that his country will double its military presence in Kosovo within the framework of the NATO mission throughout 2025, writes the Slovenian news agency, Express.
He has said that NATO’s military presence in the Western Balkans has increased at the initiative of the American president, Jobe Biden, since he knows the region quite well.
The leaders of the NATO countries have stayed in Washington, where the NATO Summit was held with a focus on Ukraine. The president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, was also invited as part of several Summit organizations.
President Osmani, at the invitation of Biden, represented Kosovo at the closing event of the NATO Summit in Washington D.C.
