Soldiers from various countries assigned to the Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command East came together for a march at the Bondsteel camp.
In a statement, KFOR said that training together allows the force to be stronger as a unit, working to ensure a safe environment for all communities in Kosovo.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 – to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially.
KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
