The EU Special Envoy for the Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, reported on his meeting with senior United Nations official, Ambassador Jan Pierre Lacroix. Sorensen informed him about the latest agreement reached with the Kurti Government regarding the implementation of the Law on Foreigners.
The Danish diplomat stated that the agreement with Kurti was made possible thanks to a constructive and pragmatic spirit.
Sorensen also noted that they discussed the need to advance the implementation of the 2023 Ohrid Agreement.
“I had a good discussion on the latest developments in the Dialogue, the constructive and pragmatic spirit that made last weekend’s agreement possible, and the need to advance the implementation of the 2023 Ohrid Agreement. I look forward to further discussions at the UN next week,” Sorensen wrote.
