UEFA and CONMEBOL have officially announced the date and venue for the Finalissima 2026. The two continental champions—the winners of UEFA Euro 2024 and Copa América 2024—will face each other on March 27 at Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00.
This event is a joint initiative by UEFA and CONMEBOL aimed at bringing together the best teams from European and South American football. The inaugural edition of this format took place in 2022, when Argentina defeated Italy 3–0 at Wembley Stadium.
UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin highlighted the importance of the event, describing it as a match that unites two continental champions and underscores the strong cooperation between the two confederations.
Finalissima 2026 is expected to attract a global audience and deliver a top-level football spectacle.
