The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, held a “consultative and informational meeting” with President Vjosa Osmani shortly before convening the Assembly Presidency.
According to an official statement, Basha informed the President about the completion of the constitutive session and the roles of institutional leaders. The two also discussed the necessary steps moving forward.
The meeting emphasized the importance of ensuring that constitutional and legal processes proceed within the planned timeframe, in order to enable the swift formation of the new Government of Kosovo, which remains a responsibility of the Assembly.
Basha reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the Assembly fully exercises its constitutional role, while President Osmani reiterated her readiness to cooperate closely with all state institutions to guarantee political stability and functionality.
