The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Basha, has announced plans to launch a series of meetings with political parties aimed at ensuring the continuation of parliamentary work.
This move comes despite opposition parties – PDK, LDK, AAK, and Nisma – insisting that the Assembly has not yet been constituted.
Unclear Format and Timing
Basha’s office confirmed to TV21 that it is still unclear when the consultations will begin or in what format they will take place. It remains undecided whether these meetings will be held within the Presidency of the Assembly or in the Speaker’s office.
Following the failure of the Assembly Presidency meeting due to lack of quorum, no public announcement has been made regarding the next steps to overcome the political deadlock.
