The Special Court in The Hague has set the date for the start of the second judicial process in the case against the former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.
According to the latest announcement from the Specialist Chambers, the second trial involving Thaçi, Bashkim Smakaj, Isni Kilaj, Fadil Fazliu, and Hajredin Kuçi will begin on 24 February 2026.
As stated in the court order, the proceedings will take place in a single block until 6 March, during which the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office will present its main body of evidence.
