Pristina, July 28, 2025 — The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK) has welcomed the guilty verdict handed down by the Basic Court in Pristina concerning the terrorist attack on the offices of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in North Mitrovica in December 2022.
In an official statement, the SPRK emphasized that the court’s decision represents an important step toward justice and sends a clear message that acts of violence and threats against the democratic institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will not be tolerated.
The reaction follows the sentencing of Milun Millenković and Aleksandar Vllajić to 5 years in prison each, Dejan Pantić to 2 years, while Miomir Vakić was acquitted.
The Special Prosecution reiterated its commitment to investigating and prosecuting crimes that pose a threat to Kosovo’s democratic order and public safety.
