The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has launched a criminal case following threats directed at President Vjosa Osmani.
In a statement, the prosecution announced that the case has been initiated under the criminal offense of “Violence against high representatives of the Republic of Kosovo.”
According to the announcement, the investigation is being conducted under Article 121 in connection with Article 119, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.1 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo.
The prosecution also confirmed that it has authorized the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes within the Kosovo Police to carry out all necessary investigative actions.
Authorities stated that the investigation aims to fully clarify the case and ensure the protection of Kosovo’s legal order, public officials, and citizens.
