Albanian Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali, after meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, said that the next step will be a joint session between the Government of Kosovo and the Government of Albania.

“In the bilateral plan, we discussed projects that are not symbolic but transformative: the red-and-black railway, energy corridors, deepening cooperation in education, culture, security, diplomacy, and in every field of mutual interest. The joint Rama-Kurti government meeting, with concrete projects, deadlines, and clear responsibilities, is the next step in our cooperation,” said Spiropali.

She also noted that during the meeting she congratulated Kurti on the election results and the constitution of new institutions.

“At a time when the region and Europe face uncertainty, the fact that Kosovo formed its Assembly and Government on time is a sign of stability and institutional maturity. Stability is not a luxury; it is a prerequisite for clear decision-making—both domestically, in dialogue, and on the path to integration.”

Spiropali pledged that Albania will stand with Kosovo “not only with solidarity, but with daily commitment and a long-term vision.”

“Because our voice is stronger when it is united.”
