The Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, was honored among 14 parliamentary leaders, senators, and deputies by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced on social media that today, on Independence Day, President Zelensky decorated 14 parliamentary leaders, deputies, senators, and congress members from the U.S. and European countries, including the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, for their support of Ukraine and cooperation with the Ukrainian Parliament.
Spiropali was awarded the High State Honor “Order of Princess Olga, First Class.”
“Thank you to each of you, our dear friends, members of the great parliamentary family, for the well-deserved awards given by President Zelensky on behalf of the Ukrainian people!” Stefanchuk wrote.
