The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Elisa Spiropali, was received by her Croatian counterpart, Gordan Grlić Radman, aiming—as she stated—“to elevate cooperation between the two countries to a new institutional level, beginning with preparations for the First Intergovernmental Meeting and the convening of the Joint Commission for Economic Relations, with the goal of boosting trade exchanges and increasing investments.”

Spiropali stated that she and the Croatian minister discussed regional connectivity priorities, “with special emphasis on infrastructure and energy interconnection, as well as cooperation in the field of security through the trilateral agreement Albania–Croatia–Kosovo.”

“Croatia strongly supports Albania’s ambition to conclude EU accession negotiations, and Albania’s progress is a typical example of merit-based advancement on the European integration path,” the minister added.
