On the anniversary of the killing of renowned architect Rexhep Luci, a commemorative plaque was also unveiled in his honor.
The square, once congested with cars, has now been completely transformed.
Mayor Përparim Rama emphasized that Luci’s dream is becoming a reality, underlining that a city should be built for people, not concrete:
“Today, we inaugurated Rexhep Luci Square and unveiled the commemorative plaque honoring the architect whose name it bears. The dream of the architect who gave soul to Prishtina is becoming reality: a city is not built for concrete, but for life,” Rama stated.
He further highlighted that this marks a true transformation of the city.
