Officials from the Serb List (Srpska Lista) have raised concerns with the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, regarding what they described as “violence being exerted by the regime in Prishtina.”
Terras met with representatives of the Serb political party on Tuesday, and the party subsequently issued a statement on Facebook. They called for the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities and for the protection of the rights of the Serbian population in Kosovo.
“We demand that the international community insist on the respect of signed agreements, particularly regarding the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities and protect the rights of the Serb people who wish to live in peace in their centuries-old homes,” the party’s statement said.
The Serb List also expressed concern over the “incidents occurring daily,” further highlighting the ongoing tension in the region.
