A tragic incident occurred this afternoon in Antwerp, Belgium, where one person lost their life and two others were injured following a stabbing attack inside a public transport bus, Rks News reports.
The incident happened around 2:30 PM, and according to local authorities, one of the injured is the bus driver. The suspected attacker was immediately arrested by police, although the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
This bus line has faced previous violent episodes. Last year, a bus was shot at with an air rifle, and there have been numerous acts of vandalism reported, including incidents where drivers were assaulted.
