U.S. President Donald Trump’s patience regarding the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is not infinite, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated today during a press conference.

When asked if the U.S. had received any indication from Russia about its interest in a diplomatic solution, Bruce responded that “President Trump’s statements best show whether he views the situation positively and whether he is satisfied with what Russian leader Vladimir Putin is doing.”

“We have all, of course, heard that he is dissatisfied and unimpressed with the way the situation is developing,” Bruce said, as reported by Tass.

According to Bruce, Trump’s actions, including the decision to provide Ukraine with additional weaponry, are the clearest indication of his current stance.

“While the President is a diplomat and always optimistic about diplomatic methods, he is also a realist. In relations with Iran and with the new measures he has announced against Russia, the entire world can see that, although he is patient, he is not prepared to compromise his vision,” Bruce concluded.
