The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor announced that around 100 state prosecutors and prosecutorial system officials are on duty across the territory of Kosovo until the conclusion of the local elections.

Their role is to ensure that any irregularities during this year’s local elections are properly addressed.

Prosecutors are stationed at the offices of basic prosecutions in cities where such offices exist. In areas without prosecution buildings, they are stationed at police stations, working alongside Kosovo Police investigators to protect citizens’ free voting rights.

Additionally, National Election Coordinator, Prosecutor Laura Pula, is supervising the overall implementation of duties by regional coordinators, engaged prosecutors, and the prosecutor assigned to the Central Election Commission (CEC).
