The past period of relations between neighboring Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina was marked by a series of situations that once again showed the true face of the regime ruling that country. First, the ban on the entry of the actor Fedja Shtukan and the activist of the Cardboard Revolution Nedim Musicić, apparently, due to public criticism of the regime, which is why “Free Bosnia” is also being attacked in the media of the Serbian regime, and then there situations that are already used and are not surprising – such as the sending of a note of protest by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 11 – the day when the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica is commemorated, which the Serbian regime continues to deny and offend the victims.
Stradner spoke to Slobodna Bosna about the increasingly frequent censorship in Serbia, the closure of festivals, the persecution of dissidents. According to her, democracy in Serbia is falling more and more.
“Vucic’s regime is going against people who criticize him, because he cannot control his ego, like most authoritarian leaders. Serbia will be a mixture of Russia and Belarus in a few years and the state of freedom will be worse. Vucic is afraid of a democratic region, so through hybrid actions he is doing everything to humiliate democracy in the surrounding countries to make Serbia look better in the eyes of the West with the same strategy he is sending them – maybe Serbia is not democratic” , Stradner said.
She says that Belgrade and Moscow are destroying democracy in Montenegro, and next on the list is North Macedonia, and while Putin wants to show that NATO is a paper tiger
