As the major protest in support of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) is set to begin at 5:00 PM in Skënderbej Square, Tirana, protesters have already begun to gather.
Among them are students from Kosovo, who have joined the demonstration holding banners and placards expressing solidarity with the UÇK’s imprisoned leaders.
Their participation highlights the unity of the younger generation with the historic cause of Kosovo’s liberation, as they call for justice and freedom for those who fought for the country’s independence.
