Albanian basketball players Erxhan Osmani and Kenan Spahi (Spahiu) played key roles in Turkey’s remarkable win.

On Wednesday night in Riga, Latvia, Turkey defeated Serbia 95–90, securing first place in Group A of EuroBasket.

By finishing first, Turkey advances directly to the knockout stage.

The match against Serbia was intense and closely contested until the final moments, but Turkey prevailed, defeating the tournament’s main favorite.

During the game, fans chanted “Kosovo, Serbia,” but in the end, it was Osmani, Spahi, and the rest of the Turkish team celebrating the victory.

Center Osmani had a significant impact, playing nearly 35 minutes and finishing the game with 19 points and five rebounds, while also contributing heavily on defense.

Spahi spent over 20 minutes on the court, orchestrating the game and recording five points, five assists, and four rebounds.

Alperen Şengün stood out as Turkey’s best player, scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists.
