This Saturday, sub-officer Muhamet Beqiri, who died at his workplace, was buried with military honors.
The ceremony to pay respects near the coffin of Sergeant Muhamet Beqiri was held at the “Skanderbeg” Barracks in Ferizaj, where family members, military personnel, institutional representatives, war veteran associations, and numerous citizens were present to honor his life and work.
“The burial ceremony with military honors continued today in the cemetery of his birth village in Talinoc of Muhaxherëve in Ferizaj, in the presence of many citizens, family members, friends, and colleagues who bid him a final farewell.”
“The Commander of the Professional Training Center, Lieutenant Colonel Bastri Topalli from the Doctrine and Training Command, on behalf of the Kosovo Security Force, expressed condolences to the family, members of the KSF, friends, and colleagues. He highly appreciated Beqiri’s dedication to the liberation of the homeland and his selfless contribution to the establishment of security institutions in Kosovo, emphasizing that Muhamet’s contribution, wisdom, and professionalism made him dear to both friends and all those who had the opportunity to work and act with him,” stated the KSF announcement.
Condolence telegrams were also sent by the country’s president, Vjosa Osmani, and Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari.
Beqiri died at his workplace two days ago after suffering a cardiac arrest.
