Supreme Court Declares Minister Murati’s Administrative Instruction on Fiscal Cash Registers Illegal

The Supreme Court of Kosovo has annulled an administrative instruction signed by acting Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, which had suspended sales and subscriptions of fiscal cash registers for 60 days.

The administrative instruction, signed by Murati on April 15 of this year, has been declared illegal.

The verdict was issued on July 7 by a panel of Supreme Court judges, presided over by Judge Delushe Halimi. The court approved the lawsuit filed by the plaintiffs, Enternet and Service Global, companies involved in the sale and servicing of fiscal cash registers, as reported by Paparaci. Lawyer Virtyt Ibrahimaga represented the plaintiffs in court.

“The lawsuit filed by the plaintiffs: Enternet Shpk with unique identification number 811557266, with headquarters in Rrafshi i Kosovës, no. 80, Pristina, and Consortium Service Global, with unique identification number 602193427, with headquarters in Pristina, against the defendant: Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers (MFPT), with headquarters in Pristina, is APPROVED as well-founded,” states the first point of the verdict’s operative part.
