Today is the final deadline for the Supreme Court of Kosovo to issue a decision on the appeals made by political parties and candidates for deputies regarding the elections held on February 9th.
After the court’s rulings, the Central Election Commission (CEC) is expected to issue an announcement regarding the certification of the election results.
The CEC has announced that it is waiting for the Supreme Court’s decisions to proceed with the process.
“Currently, the electoral process is in the phase of appeals against the final results announced by the CEC on March 15, 2025. The Central Election Commission will await decisions from the relevant institutions, implement them if they impose obligations on the CEC, and then proceed with the certification of the final results,” states the CEC’s announcement.
After the certification of the results, political parties are expected to begin preparations for the formation of new institutions.
