Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has given new details regarding yesterday’s case where the Kosovo Police discovered a weapons arsenal on the properties of politician Aleksandar Arsenijević in Zveçan.
Speaking ahead of the constitutive session, Sveçla confirmed that three properties belonging to Arsenijević and his family were raided yesterday.
Among the findings, Sveçla stated, were equipment for cryptocurrency production and a bulletproof vest. According to the minister, the presence of the bulletproof vest indicates Arsenijević’s involvement in criminal activities for a long time.
“Three of his and his family’s properties were raided yesterday. Among other things, equipment for mining and cryptocurrencies, which is a customs violation, was found. A bulletproof vest and some other items were also found, which shows that he has been involved in crime for a long time,” Sveçla elaborated.
