Xhelal Sveçla, a Member of Parliament from the Vetëvendosje Movement, emphasized that it is a vital duty for the Serbian List to remain outside the leadership of the Kosovo Assembly.
Sveçla shared a post on Facebook, recalling the party’s involvement in attacks against the Constitution and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Since this party has been actively involved in attacks against the Constitution, the Republic’s institutions, KFOR, international missions, journalists, and citizens, it is a vital duty for this party to remain outside the Assembly leadership,” he wrote.
Sveçla’s statement reflects continuing political tensions regarding the participation of the Serbian List in Kosovo’s parliamentary leadership.
