The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, speaking at a panel on defense and security policies organized by the Vetëvendosje Movement, addressed the terrorist attack in Banjska, stating that Serbia was left humiliated by the confrontation.
He mentioned that they had successfully defeated the group led by the criminal Milan Radoičić.
“We managed to defeat this terrorist group, and we also obtained evidence of their plan, which was nothing less than the annexation of 17% of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. We would have been drawn into a cycle of talks, negotiations, and renegotiations to liberate our territory, as their plan aimed to force others to mediate between us and them, just as has happened in previous instances.”
“I cannot reveal all the details of our work in the north, but I assure you that it has been a comprehensive effort, with unreserved commitment from everyone – the government, the majority of MPs, and our organization. This collective work and coordination have proven to be highly successful despite many challenges and difficulties, but also with many achievements,” said Sveçla.
