Around 09:45 on Thursday morning, the investigative unit of the Zveçan Police Station discovered a suspicious trailer. Upon inspection, military equipment and uniforms were found inside.

According to the police, the trailer contained:

  • 1 camouflage military uniform
  • 5 magazines with a total of 132 rounds for an AK-47
  • 5 magazine holders
  • 4 pairs of military pants
  • 4 military jackets
  • 3 radio pouches
  • 1 bulletproof vest
  • 2 military belts
  • 1 tactical vest
  • 1 tactical bag
  • 1 green helmet
  • 1 cap
  • 1 rotating light

Acting Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla confirmed that the ammunition was found on the property of Nemanja Radivojević, also known as “Gandi.”

Through a Facebook post, Sveçla stated that Radivojević is the main suspect in the bomb attack that killed National Hero and Police Officer Afrim Bunjaku on September 24, 2023, in Banjskë.

“For as long as Serbia refuses to hand over these individuals, they remain a direct threat to our Republic. The equipment found today is clear evidence that this criminal group, directed by Serbia, has been preparing for a long time and has never abandoned attempts to undermine Kosovo’s legal and constitutional order. Our state and security institutions are more extensive and stronger than ever in this region, and they will not tolerate even the slightest action by these criminal and terrorist elements against Kosovo,” Sveçla said.
