The Federal Council has announced that the Swiss government has approved 16 new EU sanctions targeting Moscow.
“48 additional individuals and 35 entities have been sanctioned with asset freezes and restrictions on the provision of funds and economic resources,” the statement said.
These individuals are also banned from entering or merely transiting through Switzerland.
“The individuals are also prohibited from entering or transiting through Switzerland.
The latest sanctions package also includes a range of further measures against Russia, including in the areas of goods, finance, and services.”
