The electronic border control system in North Macedonia has been fully restored, and traffic at the country’s borders has returned to normal, the National Center for Border Management announced.

Earlier today, a technical issue had caused a temporary suspension of vehicle entry into North Macedonian territory, leading to long queues at various crossing points.

“Dear citizens, we inform you that the Macedonian side’s system has started functioning, and the situation has returned to normal,” stated the National Center for Border Management.
