Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Abelard Tahiri stated today, ahead of the resumed constitutive session, that the opposition has offered options for voting on other candidates for Assembly Speaker. However, he accused Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) leader Albin Kurti of choosing to “block this situation” in the Assembly.
When asked about the prospect of new parliamentary elections, Tahiri asserted that “there’s no doubt that Vetëvendosje Movement will be the biggest loser.”
Tahiri claimed that LVV “no longer has partners” and that it is “the party with the biggest decline” according to recent polls. “On the other hand, these are not people who cooperate for the good of the citizens, for their interests,” he added.
