The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed Reuters that the negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, held today, have come to an end.

These were the first direct talks since 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Ukrainian diplomats reacted immediately after the meeting, stating that Russia’s demands were unrealistic and far from what had previously been discussed at the diplomatic table.

The full content of the discussions has not yet been made public, but it appears that both sides remain far from reaching any potential agreement.
