Around 10:00 PM, the system used to input data from the vote counting for parliamentary candidates at the Municipal Counting Center in the 1 Tetori Hall in Prishtina went down.
Additionally, at one of the counting tables in the Municipal Counting Center at the 1 Tetori Hall, the previously conducted counting has been canceled and will be repeated for technical reasons, reports KP.
According to the commissioners counting the votes, this might have happened because a ballot was counted twice, or the same candidate for deputy was mistakenly clicked twice, which caused the system to “flag” the irregularity.
Valmir Elezi, spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, informed that vote counting for parliamentary candidates has begun in the Municipal Counting Centers in Prishtina, Lipjan, Obiliq, and Partesh this afternoon.
For other municipalities in Kosovo, he emphasized that preparations are underway, and vote counting is expected to begin tomorrow (Wednesday).
