The clash between U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is escalating further. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump stated that he has no plans to hold any talks with Musk.

“I hope he succeeds with Tesla,” said the Republican president, while also hinting at the possibility of reviewing Tesla’s financial ties with the federal government.
“We’ll take a look at everything. That’s a lot of money,” he added.

On the other hand, Musk has continued to criticize the Republican tax and spending bill, which Trump has described as a “big and beautiful” piece of legislation.

Without naming the president directly, Musk wrote on his platform X that the bill would politically hurt Republicans and “add another $36.2 trillion” to the national debt.

Meanwhile, following the fallout between Trump and his former advisor, Tesla shares dropped by 14%, wiping out around $150 billion in value — the largest single-day loss in the company’s history. However, shares rebounded the following day.
