Today, the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Kosovo, Riho Terras, paid a visit to the country.

Terras commented on the meetings he held in Pristina with Albulena Haxhiu, Glauk Konjufca, and Bedri Hamza, saying they discussed Kosovo’s political situation and the European Union’s enlargement process, Rks News reports.

“Greetings from Pristina! This morning I met with Albulena Haxhiu, Glauk Konjufca, and Bedri Hamza. We discussed the political situation in Kosovo and the European Union enlargement process,” Terras said.

Terras also stressed that Kosovo’s future lies in the European Union, while emphasizing that membership will require further reforms.

“Kosovo’s future is in the European Union, but membership requires reforms. We are working toward that goal,” he wrote.
