Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani held a meeting with Riho Terras, the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Kosovo, expressing serious concerns regarding the European Union’s restrictive measures on the country.

Osmani emphasized that “the continuation of EU measures against Kosovo remains inexplicable, unfair, and unreasonable.” She also urged that Kosovo’s EU membership application be processed promptly, based on merit.

Following the meeting, Terras stated on X that they discussed the political situation and the upcoming general elections scheduled for 28 December. He added that “the European Union’s measures against Kosovo must be lifted immediately.”
