The former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, visited his father today at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) in Pristina, where he has been receiving medical treatment for some time. He received permission from the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo, based in The Hague, to make the visit.
Thaçi’s arrival in Kosovo, though brief and under strict security measures from the Special Court, attracted significant attention.
One detail that may have gone unnoticed is that Thaçi arrived in Kosovo wearing the same suit (jacket) he wore the day he left the country to face charges at the Special Court in The Hague.
