Following the funeral of Haxhi Thaçi, father of former President Hashim Thaçi, the Thaçi family has extended their gratitude to all those who paid their respects and offered condolences.
“We thank all citizens for their support. We also express our gratitude to delegations from Albania, North Macedonia, and all Albanian-inhabited regions for their honors, as well as to Kosovo’s institutions for their messages of condolence. The massive presence of people and their support in these difficult days have helped ease our pain,” said Idriz Thaçi, brother of the former president.
He also thanked the medical staff at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) for their care and professionalism in treating Haxhi Thaçi over the past three months.
Additionally, he expressed appreciation for the Municipality of Skenderaj, under whose patronage the day’s memorial events were organized.
