A Serbian national has been arrested following a raid on suspicion of committing several criminal offenses, including preparation for the crime of “murder.”
The State Prosecutor is continuing to take all necessary investigative actions to determine if there are any other potential suspects related to this case.
This was announced by the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina through a media statement, which stated that the arrest came after “a multi-month investigation by the State Prosecutor in cooperation and coordination with the Kosovo Police.”
On December 5, 2024, a raid was conducted, and a suspect identified as R.B., a Serbian national, was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses “preparation for the commission of the criminal act of ‘murder'” under Article 172 in conjunction with Article 27 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo, “presenting oneself falsely as a public official” under Article 409, and the criminal act of “fraud” under Article 323 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo.
