The Minister of Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, said that the Prizren-Tetovo road is starting to be built. He indicated that the contracts for this project, which will have a length of 20 kilometers and 350 meters, were signed today.

For the first part, nearly 8 million euros have been allocated, part of the funds allocated for the second part have been re-evaluated by PRB, while for the third part of the project, 8 million 346 thousand 804 euros have been allocated.

Today, contracts were signed for the construction of the Prizren-Tetovo Road, with a length of 20,350 km, regarding the construction of the Prizren-North Macedonia (Tetovo) Road, for Lot 1 in the value of 7,999,999.00 euros, as well as Lot 3 in the value of 8,346,804.38 euros.

This road connects two international highways that pass on both sides of the Sharr mountains, and the connection of these two roads at the closest point between them, in addition to bringing our two cities and our two countries closer, it also enables the opening of a new road corridor with economic impact for both countries.

PRB has returned Lot 2 for reassessment.
