The counting of candidates for deputies is still ongoing, but the 100% of party votes have not yet been counted – CEC in a “block”

While the Central Election Commission (CEC) is continuing with the counting of candidates for deputies in various municipalities of the country, the final count of the party votes is still not complete, reports Gazeta Sinjali.

The latest update of the processed data by the CEC was made three days ago, on February 12, where a total of 99.72% has been counted.

There are still 8 polling stations left to be counted, in the municipalities of: Gjilan (3), Klinë (2), Prizren (1), and Deçan (1).

In Gjilan and Prizren, the Vetëvendosje Movement has already won these municipalities decisively, and the result will not affect the first-place position. Meanwhile, in Klinë, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is leading with 27.60%, ahead of LVV with 26.21%, with 96.77% of the 60 out of 62 polling stations counted.

In Deçan, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has won decisively, with 50.82% after 49 polling stations out of 50 counted (98%), followed by LVV with 22.46%.

While the CEC is “blocked” in reaching 100% of the vote count, the counting of candidates for deputies has already started several days ago and continues in various municipalities.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced yesterday that the counting of votes for candidates has been completed in 5 municipalities and will continue in 29 others.

On Friday afternoon, the CEC announced that the counting of votes for deputy candidates has been completed in the municipalities of Han i Elezit, Shtërpce, Partesh, Ranillug, and Junik.

According to the CEC, the vote counting process for deputy candidates is continuing in the Municipal Counting Centers (MCC) in various municipalities of Kosovo.

The CEC also announced that during the day, the vote counting process for candidates has started in the MCCs in the municipalities of Dragash, Istog, Rahovec, Peja, Podujevë, Klinë, Malishevë, and Graçanicë.

The counting in municipalities has started on the following dates:

  • February 11, 2025 – Prishtina, Lipjan, Obiliq, and Partesh;
  • February 12, 2025 – Deçan, Gjakovë, Drenas, Gjilan, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenicë, South Mitrovica, Skënderaj, Shtërpce, Viti, Ranillug, Kllokot, North Mitrovica, and Han i Elezit;
  • February 13, 2025 – Suharekë, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Kaçanik, Novobërdë, Prizren, Shtime, and Junik.

In the Municipal Counting Centers of Leposaviq, Zveçan, Zubin Potok, and Mamushë, the counting has not yet started, but there will be timely notifications for this.
