The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, reacted to the death of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of President Thaçi, by expressing sincere condolences to the family and the entire Albanian nation.
Krasniqi said that he received the news of Haxhi Thaçi’s passing with deep sorrow.
“With deep sorrow, I received the news of the passing of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of President Hashim Thaçi. Today, after a long battle with illness, not only a person passed away, but a father who gave Kosovo a liberator, a man who with his dedication and upbringing helped bring about a new era for our nation.”
Sincere condolences to President Thaçi, the Thaçi family, and the entire Albanian nation. Haxhi Thaçi was more than a parent – he was a strong pillar of patriotic values, a wise and noble man who left an immortal legacy in our history.
