The huge fire that engulfed the Canadian town of Jasper in recent days burned cars on the streets and reduced houses to ashes.

The first images of the devastation in the famous tourist town have emerged after the fire engulfed it.

It has been difficult to understand the scale of what happened because the fire raged for days almost 100 meters high.

About 25,000 people were evacuated from the city and Jasper National Park, in Alberta, the BBC writes, the Express Newspaper reports.
